Job Description

An HR Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This position involves performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and requires excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team and various departments to facilitate recruitment processes, maintain employee records, and provide assistance in daily HR-related activities. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and shortlisting candidates.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring that information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and HR events with efficiency.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation coordination.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Address employee queries and assist with answering HR-related questions.
  • Facilitate performance management processes and help manage employee evaluations.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and recommend improvements where applicable.
  • Organize and maintain files, databases, and documents related to HR activities.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to improve internal processes and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR role or internship is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
