Job Description

The HR Assistant is a pivotal member of the human resources team, tasked with supporting HR operations and facilitating smooth, efficient processes within the department. This role requires a detail-oriented individual equipped with excellent organizational and communication skills to manage a variety of HR functions. The HR Assistant will support the recruitment process, assist in employee relations activities, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. They will work closely with HR managers and staff to nurture a positive working environment while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times. This position offers an opportunity to interact with all levels of staff and to contribute to the positive culture and operational excellence of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing recruitment and interview processes, collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Maintain employee records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides, as needed.
  • Participate in developing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Handle employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate HR resources or personnel.
  • Compile and prepare reports as required by HR managers and senior administration.
  • Coordinate employee training and development activities, maintaining training records.
  • Manage the scheduling and communication of performance review processes.
  • Participate in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in ensuring workplace compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in an HR role or related function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and integrity.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations is advantageous.
