Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

Salayel Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations across its properties in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while leading and supporting the housekeeping team in line with brand standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are met
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping team members to maintain performance and productivity
• Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and allocate manpower effectively
• Ensure correct usage, storage, and control of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
• Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office for maintenance issues and room status updates
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints professionally
• Maintain linen, uniform, and amenities inventory control
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with reports, audits, and operational requirements
  
  

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations
• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant is mandatory
• Experience within the UAE hospitality sector is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, cleaning standards, and chemicals
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Good command of English (additional languages are an advantage)
