Housekeeping Attendant

Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PUBLIC AREAS
• Cleans and maintains all lobbies, F&B outlets, rest-rooms, passages and exterior spaces of the hotel (Public areas & offices).
• Vacuums carpets and empties ashtrays and bins.
• Polishes and dusts furniture and fixtures.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors.
• Washes walls and glass.
• Vacuums and polish elevators.
• Cleans mirrors and windows.
• GUEST ROOMS
• Enters and prepares rooms for cleaning.
• Checks mini bar.
• Makes the bed.
• Sanitize rooms and furniture.
• Checks all equipment.
• Reports broken equipment to Housekeeping coordinator/supervisor.
• Cleans the bathroom.
• Mops the floors
• Replenishes bedroom and bathroom supplies.
• Vacuums carpets including passages and lift landing.
• Checks and secures the room.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  
  

• At least High school diploma
• 1-year experience in 4- star or 5-star hotels.
• Knowledgeable in Housekeeping operation and cleaning methods will be an asset
• Ability to communicate basic English
• Detail-oriented and possess pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
