Heavy Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of operating heavy vehicles and demonstrate excellent driving skills in various weather conditions and terrains. As a Heavy Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials to designated locations. You should have a solid understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws. This role requires a dedicated individual with a commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct. A valid heavy vehicle driving license and a clean driving record are essential for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods on time.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all traffic and transportation laws and regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date log of driving hours, mileage, and rests.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner.
• Manage cargo loading and unloading processes with utmost care.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and minor repairs on vehicles.
• Stay updated with the latest driving techniques and safety protocols.
• Ensure the security and safety of the cargo during transit.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient transportation planning.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid heavy vehicle driving license is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a heavy driver in Abu dhabi similar role is required.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to work independently and handle long hours of driving.
• Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and capability to lift heavy items when needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with logistics personnel and customers.
