Job Description

The Guest Service Representative position is vital for ensuring an exceptional level of service and hospitality for guests at our establishment. Fluent in both Arabic and English, the ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our diverse clientele, offering a warm welcome and providing personalized assistance to enhance the guest experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of customer service. With responsibilities ranging from check-in and check-out procedures to handling customer inquiries, the Guest Service Representative must be proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent guest experience by delivering timely and accurate service.
  • Communicate effectively with guests in Arabic and English to accommodate needs.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment at the front desk area at all times.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Record and manage guest reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Upsell additional services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with guests to ensure all requests are satisfactorily fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate an efficient and seamless guest experience.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with a problem-solving attitude in all situations.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs and reservation systems is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
