Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the friendly face and helpful hand that ensures each guest's stay is exceptional. You will be responsible for providing a warm welcome, assisting with guest inquiries, handling reservations, and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. You will be a key member of the team, acting as the first point of contact for our guests and playing a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment. Your goal will be to give each guest a memorable experience by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail in every interaction.


Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests and ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival.
  • Efficiently check guests in and out while managing all related processes.
  • Answer inquiries and provide detailed information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Provide concierge services by recommending local attractions and dining options.
  • Facilitate communication between guests and other hotel departments as necessary.
  • Follow all hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures effectively.
  • Upsell hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure the front desk area remains tidy, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Process payments, including credit card, cash, and other transaction types.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to handle guest concerns professionally.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
