Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Manage guest bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and special requests.
  • Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and other concierge services.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness and upkeep.
  • Process guest payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and reception area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to meet guest needs promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols for guest and employee well-being.
  • Solicit guest feedback to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support management with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and office applications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks as needed.
