 Position : Senior HSE Leader (Consulting Assignment) - Oil & Gas

Location : UAE (Candidates based in UAE will be preferred)

Contract Duration : One day assignment 

Overview
We are engaging a Senior HSE Leader to support the evaluation of candidates for a Group-level HSE leadership role within a UAE-based oil & gas organization.

This is a consulting assignment, involving the delivery of a structured technical assessment interview focused on enterprise-level HSE strategy, planning, and assurance. This role is ideally suited to Senior professionals or portfolio advisors with oil & gas experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical interview with senior HSE leadership candidates


• Assess capabilities across:
  
  
  
  • Enterprise HSE strategy and planning
  
  
  • Assurance frameworks, governance, and compliance
  
  
  • Risk management in complex oil & gas environments
  
  
  
  


• Apply structured, competency-based evaluation approaches aligned with best practices 


• Provide clear, objective written feedback and scoring post assessment 


• Collaborate with the assessment team to ensure consistency and quality

Candidate Profile

• Former Head / Director / VP of HSE within oil & gas, petrochemicals, or energy


• Strong expertise in HSE assurance, governance, and enterprise-level frameworks


• Experience across multi-site or group-level operations


• Solid understanding of international HSE standards (ISO frameworks)


• Prior experience in executive interviews, hiring panels, or leadership assessment preferred


• UAE / GCC experience is an advantage
