Job Description

Joining AECOMs Graduate Program as a Graduate Mechanical Enginee r, will provide the opportunity to be an integral part of our team. This role offers exposure to strategic initiatives, as well as involvement in infrastructure projects.

This role is a part of our 24-months Advance graduate program. Your journey from graduate to future leader will be supported through structured learning programs and one-on-one mentoring with industry experts, equipping you with the tools to make a lasting impact on our organization and the nation.

As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Apply design and technical knowledge to produce high-quality outputs within project timelines.
• Assist in maintaining project budgets and schedules under supervision.
• Collect and analyze information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
• Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure design continuity.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Ensure the quality of BIM/CAD model production by reviewing for accuracy.
• Actively seek information, contribute to problem-solving, and drive efficiencies and effectiveness in project delivery.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to solve atypical engineering challenges.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOMs Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8
• As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
