Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Information Management to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is an office-based role supporting our engineering team within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation workflows, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting multidisciplinary teams across major projects. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectations, the position will be based full-time at our Abu Dhabi office.

- Manage and control project documentation workflows, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with established project standards.
- Maintain document registers, version control, and distribution logs to support efficient document handling.
- Provide timely access to updated documents for engineering and project teams, enabling smooth project execution.
- Demonstrate understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures related to document control and information management.
- Maintain a high level of computer literacy and proficiency in document management systems and relevant software tools.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities – Information Management
- Manage and maintain all project documentation in compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Ensure accurate control of incoming and outgoing documents, including version control, distribution, and archiving.
- Provide timely access to updated and approved documentation to support engineering and project teams.
- Apply document control procedures effectively within a project environment.
- Maintain comprehensive document registers and logs to ensure traceability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare clear and concise written communications and reports on document status and control activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures impacting document management.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy and proficiency in document management systems and relevant software tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with project milestones.
- Assist in audits and reviews by providing required documentation and ensuring readiness of records.

Expected
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, AI / Data science or Information Management).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining documentation accuracy and integrity.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with document control systems and software (e.g., SharePoint, EDMS, Aconex).
- Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to documentation.
- Prior experience in document control within engineering, construction, or oil & gas projects (preferred).
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured and professional environment.
