Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve financial goals for the kitchen.
  • Maintain a spotless, organized, and efficiently run kitchen environment at all times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to source the freshest ingredients for menu items.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Oversee kitchen labor schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and staff coverage.
  • Develop and implement new kitchen policies and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, focusing on improving experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, managing kitchen audits and inspections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end Italian restaurant.
  • Deep understanding of traditional and contemporary Italian culinary techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Ability to create innovative menus that cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in Italian cuisine is preferred.
