General Manager Sales Enterprise Technology

Black Pearl Consult is supporting a confidential executive search for a leading international technology organization seeking an accomplished General Manager – Sales.

This is a senior country leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, market strategy, operational performance, and strategic customer engagement across the UAE. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing, cross-functional organization and play a key role in strengthening the business across both public and private sector markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the UAE commercial and go-to-market strategy in line with regional and global business objectives.
  
• Lead overall country sales performance, revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting, and market expansion.
  
• Provide leadership across cross-functional teams to ensure strong execution, accountability, and operational excellence.
  
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with major enterprise customers, government entities, and senior decision-makers.
  
• Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams across technology, software, services, and enterprise solutions.
  
• Lead country-level business planning, budgeting, performance management, and commercial governance.
  
• Build a high-performance leadership culture focused on collaboration, customer value, employee engagement, compliance, and sustainable growth.
  

Requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate:

• Significant senior leadership experience within the enterprise technology, ICT, software, cloud, digital solutions, or technology services sector.
  
• Proven experience leading a sizeable sales organization with responsibility for major revenue targets, budgets, and commercial performance.
  
• Strong track record of selling complex B2B technology solutions to enterprise, government, and public-sector clients in the UAE.
  
• Demonstrated experience developing software, services, recurring-revenue, or solution-led business models.
  
• Established relationships with C-suite executives, senior business leaders, government stakeholders, and strategic decision-makers in the UAE.
  
• Strong experience leading multidisciplinary and matrixed teams through growth, transformation, or organizational change.
  
• Relevant academic qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline, supported by strong commercial and strategic leadership capability.
