Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of accounting experience in the region, with a solid understanding of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and compliance with UAE accounting standards. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.

• Handle bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of transactions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.

• Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

• Ensure all accounting records and reports comply with company policies and accounting principles.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Must be currently based in the UAE.
