Fullstack Developer – Python & React

A leading financial institution is accelerating its digital transformation agenda and modernizing its core platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance banking solutions. The organization is seeking a Fullstack Developer with strong Python and React experience to design, build, and support end‑to‑end applications across critical banking systems in a cloud‑native, microservices‑driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Python on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
• Build scalable and secure backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Spring Boot, aligned to microservices architecture.
• Develop responsive, high‑quality user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend best practices.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement robust data persistence layers using relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQLite.
• Write clean, testable code with strong coverage using JUnit and Cypress for end‑to‑end testing.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to build and deploy cloud‑native applications.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Apply DevOps and TDD practices to improve deployment frequency, reliability, and quality.
• Monitor application performance and reliability using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Ensure application security and code quality by integrating security scanning tools like CheckMarx and Black Duck.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and Java (8+), and solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience developing backend services with FastAPI, Flask, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong frontend development experience with React.js (and exposure to Next.js or Angular is a plus).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and container technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to data processing and analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, TDD, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast‑paced banking environment.
