Job Description

The Front Desk Agent - Arabic Speaker is a pivotal role often considered the face of the organization, primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests, visitors, and clients. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both English and Arabic. The front desk serves as the first point of contact, and the agent must maintain a professional, friendly and accommodating demeanor to ensure a positive first impression. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a charming and helpful disposition. As the communication focal point for guests, the Front Desk Agent - Arabic Speaker is instrumental in facilitating smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing necessary information, and resolving any issues that may arise during a guest's stay.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in both English and Arabic with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately for all guests.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel, available amenities, and nearby attractions.
  • Answer phones and address guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure it remains clean and orderly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest requests promptly.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate accounting records for transactions conducted at the desk.
  • Assist guests with special requests, including luggage storage and arranging transportation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols to protect guests and staff.
  • Keep accurate log of daily activities and report any significant issues to management.

Requirements

  • Proficient bilingual speaker, fluent in both English and Arabic languages.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a front desk setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a polite demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, addressing issues effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and reservation software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
