Job Description

The Front Desk Agent - Arabic Speaker plays a critical role in creating an exceptional experience for hotel guests by being the face of the establishment. This role involves greeting visitors with a warm smile and providing high-quality service while managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Arabic to cater to a diverse clientele and will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The Front Desk Agent will also handle telephone inquiries, assist with reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions. With a keen eye for detail, the Front Desk Agent ensures guest satisfaction and plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Communicate fluently in Arabic and English to assist diverse guests.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls with courteous phone etiquette.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests.
  • Provide accurate information regarding hotel services and facilities to guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage and process all guest payments and transactions accurately.
  • Maintain an updated record of room availabilities and guest accounts.
  • Assist in booking and managing reservations for guests as needed.
  • Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle emergency situations with a calm and professional attitude.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages, verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient with hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
