Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor at reception.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes according to hotel procedures.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, messages, and guest inquiries promptly.
  • Verify guest information and room rates during booking and check-in.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Coordinate room assignments and ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy.
  • Resolve guest complaints swiftly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep the lobby area and front desk organized and stocked with supplies.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel software.
  • Maintain cash drawer, balance daily transactions, and complete financial reports.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest requests and issues.
  • Promote hotel loyalty programs and encourage guest participation in promotions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a front desk agent or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success.
  • Proficient with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Flexible with varying work shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and poise.
