Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and efficient service. Your role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out. With a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction, you must adeptly handle guest inquiries, process reservations, and maintain accurate records. A committed professional, you will work closely with other departments to address guest needs and resolve any issues that arise. This role demands excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
  • Efficiently check guests in and out, managing the necessary paperwork.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area at all times during shifts.
  • Assist guests in making reservations, modifications, and cancellations as needed.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly with a positive attitude.
  • Ensure accuracy of guest billing and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address room issues immediately.
  • Maintain updated knowledge about hotel services and local attractions for guests.
  • Process payments securely by cash, credit card, or other accepted methods.
  • Record all guest information accurately in our database management system.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and safety regulations for both guests and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality education preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar guest service role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems is required.
  • Ability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
