Job Description

The Food and Beverage Attendant is a vital member of the hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. This role involves serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The attendant’s goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing guests’ needs effectively and enhancing the overall dining experience. Working in a dynamic environment, this position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and management team. The attendant must balance efficiency and courtesy while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards to ensure a seamless operation.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide first-class dining service according to company standards.
  • Present menus, respond to queries, and make meal recommendations effectively.
  • Accurately take customer orders and convey them to kitchen staff promptly.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring correct order delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and serving stations.
  • Handle customers' questions and complaints professionally and promptly resolve issues.
  • Keep track of restaurant supplies and communicate restocking needs to managers.
  • Monitor tables to replenish beverages and remove unwanted dishes for guests’ convenience.
  • Process payments accurately and provide customers with detailed receipts.
  • Follow health and safety precautions, including COVID-19 preventive measures diligently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operation.
  • Participate in training sessions and contribute feedback for service improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for eligibility.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • Strong ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations according to local laws.
  • Friendly and positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
