Job Description

The Fleet Sales Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the sales operations of a company's fleet vehicles. The primary focus is to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and other bulk purchasers. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to drive a team of sales professionals in achieving targets and maximizing profitability. The Fleet Sales Manager must possess an in-depth understanding of market trends, vehicle specifications, and customer requirements. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve fleet sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key fleet customers and partners.
  • Lead and mentor the fleet sales team to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional strategies for fleet sales.
  • Oversee the negotiation of terms and conditions of sales agreements with clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving client issues promptly.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of potential and existing fleet clients.
  • Monitor the progress of sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in fleet sales operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in fleet sales or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills are mandatory.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Solid understanding of the automotive industry and fleet services.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
