Job Description

The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the fleet sales operations within a company. This role requires an individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers while also developing new business opportunities. The Fleet Sales Manager will work closely with the sales, servicing, marketing, and management teams to develop strategies that drive fleet sales and enhance customer satisfaction. With a focus on understanding customer needs and market trends, the Fleet Sales Manager must ensure that the portfolio of fleet products and services meets client expectations and company objectives. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in sales, and the ability to strategize and implement effective sales plans to achieve set targets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve fleet sales targets and expand market share.
  • Lead the fleet sales team, providing coaching, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing fleet customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for fleet sales.
  • Negotiate and close deals with fleet customers while ensuring company profitability.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to measure and improve fleet sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards in fleet sales operations.
  • Develop innovative strategies to differentiate our fleet solutions from competitors.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure the timely delivery and servicing of fleet vehicles.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on fleet sales progress and strategy adjustments.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on market developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and achieving successful fleet sales outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and network with key industry stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market dynamics.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines consistently.
  • Understanding of relevant fleet industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Results-driven approach with a focus on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
