Job Description

The Fleet Sales Executive is a critical component of the automotive sales team, specializing in managing and expanding the company's fleet sales operations. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing strategies to increase sales and profitability in the fleet segment. This involves maintaining existing client relationships while also fostering new connections in order to develop new business opportunities. The Fleet Sales Executive should be adept at understanding client needs, negotiating deals, and providing exceptional customer service. They will work closely with the marketing and sales departments to align fleet sales strategies with the overall business objectives. This is a dynamic position that requires a blend of sales expertise, business acumen, and sector-specific knowledge, aimed at achieving sales targets and driving growth within the fleet sector.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive fleet vehicle sales volumes.
  • Identify new business opportunities in both local and regional markets.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key fleet clients and partners.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicle options to potential fleet customers.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with fleet clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support fleet sales campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze sales results and report findings to senior management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports for management review.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar fleet sales or automotive sales position.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data accurately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
