Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and joinery drawings for a range of fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and review fit-out and joinery designs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to align design objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and building codes in all drawings.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and installation phases.
• Modify and update existing drawings as per client feedback or project changes.
• Create and maintain a detailed design database for all ongoing and completed projects.
• Review and approve shop drawings submitted by contractors for accuracy and suitability.
• Engage with suppliers and contractors to resolve design-related issues and concerns.
• Participate in project site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
• Assist in preparing project presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a draftsman and detailer in the fit-out and joinery industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of building materials, finishes, and joinery construction methods.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce architectural plans and specifications accurately.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and precision in work.
• Degree or diploma in architecture, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
