Financial Controller Assistant

The Assistant Financial Controller will assist the Financial Controller in managing the financial operations of the company. They will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. They will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Help in the analysis of financial data and provide insights to management.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Help in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Assist with the preparation of financial audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and controls.
• Provide support to the Financial Controller on ad hoc financial projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
