Job Description

The Financial Controller role is a pivotal position within any organization, providing critical support in driving financial strategy, integrity, and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounting and finance functions of the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards at all times.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the organization's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity and optimal ROI.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and establish mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop long-term financial plans and goals.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, recommending improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audit processes and requirements.
  • Stay updated on emerging financial regulations and practices affecting the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentorship.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines consistently.
