The Finance officer within the Accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams - Charter, holidays, engineering - for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.
Accountabilities
Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfaces
Ensures Invoices are delivered to the customer on timely bases
Monitoring unposted receipts and taking necessary action with the teams concerned
Review bank guarantees for agents and customers to align with set security levels and validity dates.
Monitor the IATA default agents on regular basis and coordinate with the GSA’s and RCSM for resolutions
Reconciling billing customer accounts to the Revenue ledger
Perform month end Closing activities and manage revenue billing accruals
Ensure accounting activity level is in accordance with IFRS accounting standards
Support internal and external auditor’s queries
Support Tax team with billing queries
Co-ordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections and GL team
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field (Minimum)
Knowledge of SAP ERP system is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience within relevant field.
Ability to prioritize and manage time.
Good communications skills in both spoken and written
Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
