Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the financial health and success of an organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. The Finance Manager ensures that the organization’s financial operations are conducted in a manner that maximizes cost efficiency while maintaining the highest ethical standards. With a deep understanding of financial markets, budgeting, and risk management, the Finance Manager advises senior management on key investment decisions and financial strategies. As a pivotal member of the finance department, this role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a team and liaise with diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the financial strategy and long-term financial plan for the company.
  • Manage and monitor all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Conduct regular and detailed financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
  • Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and economic conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and audits.
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline financial processes and operations.
  • Oversee internal financial controls and risk management procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions and strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial stakeholders.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Implement and optimize financial software systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Track industry trends and economic forecasts to anticipate and prepare for financial challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in financial management or a related area.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage financial processes and lead a finance team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and management skills are essential.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
