Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. This position involves overseeing the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen analytical mind, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders. They will be responsible for managing the finance team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and advising senior management on financial planning and risk management. A Finance Manager must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to improving operational efficiencies and driving financial performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning and budget management functions for the entire organization.
  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations at all times.
  • Lead the finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial information.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze departmental budgets and identify cost savings.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and business growth.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate accurate and timely audits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and technology.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and tax laws affecting the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar professional qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of current accounting principles, financial regulations, and laws.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a finance team and influence company leadership.
  • Proficient in financial management software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Effective communication skills suitable for presenting financial data to non-financial audiences.
