Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial operations within an organization. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations. They are expected to produce accurate financial reports and improve financial management practices. As a Finance Manager, your key task will be to provide financial guidance and support to clients and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the capability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire financial department’s operations and activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Develop long-term corporate and business strategies with a focus on financial stability.
  • Provide detailed financial reports and relating analysis for business review.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process for all financial records.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures for compliance.
  • Prepare and manage the organization’s annual budget and forecasts.
  • Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
  • Evaluate financial performance by analyzing results and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Manage relationships with partners, vendors, law firms, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee the financial health by managing cash flows and cost control measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and hands-on experience with software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of providing accurate financial data and actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
