Finance Associate

This is a 1-year fixed-term contract opportunity with a public sector organisation based in Abu Dhabi. The role sits within the Finance team at Associate level and is suited to an experienced finance professional with hands-on expertise across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial processing.
• Perform reconciliations across AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and the General Ledger in support of month-end and year-end financial reporting cycles.
• Prepare management reports, analytical schedules, VAT submissions, and fixed asset reports in accordance with IFRS and UAE VAT requirements.
• Monitor payment cycles, receivables, vendor performance, and asset records, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, governance, and operational efficiency.
• Support finance transformation initiatives including process automation, system enhancements, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement projects.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is highly preferred.
• 8 to 10 years of experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, or Finance Operations.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, General Ledger processes, and finance operations within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or Oracle Financials, with advanced Excel skills.
• Exposure to Power BI, automation tools, or AI-driven finance solutions is advantageous.
