Job Description

The Finance and Pricing Coordinator is a pivotal role, tasked with overseeing and managing the pricing strategies and financial planning for an organization. This position requires someone who is adept at analyzing market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and cost structures to optimize the company’s pricing models. The Coordinator works closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure competitive and profitable pricing decisions. They must be able to translate financial data into actionable strategies that align with the company’s goals. A deep understanding of financial management principles and proficiency with financial software are essential. Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and develop strategic pricing models for profitability.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Develop financial forecasts and budgets to support pricing initiatives.
  • Produce and analyze reports on pricing metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product teams to evaluate cost structures and impacts on pricing.
  • Implement pricing strategies and track their performance and effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in pricing and financial analysis.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and financial insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all financial activities.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in financial and pricing decisions.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members in pricing analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in finance, pricing, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools such as Excel and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial strategies and insights.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasting financial outcomes.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams towards common goals.
