You‘ll make a difference by

• Providing full range of Finance Advisory (FA) services to Siemens companies as part of an 1,5-year assignment program with Siemens Financial Services in Dubai.
• Structuring, arranging, and implementing of project-related risk mitigation concepts and financing solutions using the broad range of financial instruments (e.g. sale of receivables, forfaiting programs, letters of credit, commercial loans, ECA covered loans, structured financing, leasing).
• Analysis of project-related risks and development of acceptable and bankable risk profiles (e.g. in the context of Performance Contracting concepts, leasing models, multi-sourced Export Credit Agency (ECA)- covered financings, Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects).
• Acting as interface to members of the international financing community and selection and engagement of potential financing partners (e.g. banks, investment funds, leasing companies, ECAs, private risk insurers).
• Developing and driving new opportunities and new business models (with embedded financing solutions) in close collaboration with Siemens companies.
• Preparation of financing relevant documentation in bid phase (e.g. composition of financing offer, Letter of Intent from ECA) including necessary clarifications; support in negotiations and closing of financing agreements; coordination and monitoring of financing-related project documentation as part of project management.
• Reporting and information exchange (standard reports, ad-hoc queries).
  
  

Your success is grounded in

• Master’s degree, or equivalent, in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Approx. 5 years of relevant work experience in a bank and/or financial services company.
• Strong knowledge of trade financing solutions, expertise in project, export and/or structured.
• finance would be a plus.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, in particular IFRS.
• Strong willingness to grow into the role and learn about the different projects, products, and solutions of the respective Siemens companies markets including key players, market dynamics, business mechanics and sales processes
• Business fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
• Very good command of MS Office tools for complex financial calculations and high-quality
• presentations.
• Business experience in working in international, interdisciplinary teams.
