What You’ll Do
The primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs and periodic maintenance for Eaton installed base/products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be working on Eaton UPS products from small 1-phase UPS to large data center UPS up to 1700kVA.
Main Responsibilties
Follow up on customer agreements and customer satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation and invoicing of service tasks.
Support customers in technical questions (phone and/ or mail).
Support own colleagues in Service department and Sales with technical knowledge.
Oversee a team of technicians and ensure high quality performance of assigned tasks.
Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or by law).
Perform commissioning, service, repair and preventive maintenance on Eatons Installed Base/products.
Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPIs.
Secure timely reporting and ensure technical reports are done in connection to each individual work.
Work and act in line with Eaton guidelines, processes and code of ethics.
Cooperate with Project Managers in projects supporting in plannnig and commissioning scheduling.
Offer support for high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
Actively support Eatons Environment, Health & Safety culture.
Qualifications
An associates degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience overseeing/mentoring/leading a team
Skills
Experience with UPS 1-phase/3-phase systems, battery backup, and emergency power supply.
Communication skills
Customer-oriented attitude
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Ability to understand and implement instructions and tasks effectively
