Fiber Optic Splicer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fiber Optic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) services at customer premises. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, pull, route, and secure fiber optic cables (Single Mode & Multi-Mode).
• Perform fiber splicing, termination, and patch panel installation.
• Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, power meter, and light source.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify fiber faults and signal loss issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, fiber layouts, and technical specifications.
• Ensure proper labeling of fiber cables and update as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
• Follow project schedules and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Comply with HSE policies and site safety regulations at all times.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and system checks.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work areas in good condition.

• Education Diploma  in Fiber Optics, 
• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on experience as a Fiber Optic Technician.
• Proven experience in fiber splicing, termination, and testing.
• Ability to use OTDR, power meter, and fusion splicing machines confidently.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling and fiber optic standards.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically fit to work on site and in challenging environments.
• Good communication skills; basic English required.
• UAE experience and immediate availability preferred.
