Feild Technician

ob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic and network systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in fiber optic installation and splicing, cable laying, router and switch configuration, and a basic understanding of IP networking. Experience with RF equipment for wireless projects will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fiber optic cable installation and splicing according to technical standards.
• Carry out cable laying, testing, and troubleshooting for network connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain routers and switches for network operations.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of IP-based networking systems.
• Install and support RF equipment for wireless communication projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure proper functioning of network infrastructure.
• Identify faults and perform timely repairs to minimize network downtime.
• Maintain documentation of installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
  
  
  

• Diploma or certification in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and splicing.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts.
• Experience in router and switch configuration.
• Familiarity with RF equipment and wireless technologies is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in field environments.
• 1-3 Years of relevant field experience.
