Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team and oversee the engineering aspects of our facilities management. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, inspecting, and assisting in the maintenance of our facility's systems to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing project timelines and budgets, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and developing plans to optimize the efficiency of facility operations. You will work closely with other teams to ensure that the facility meets both production goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the seamless operation and enhancement of our facilities, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality products and services.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for building systems and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the design, planning, and execution of facility upgrades and construction projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility-related services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Manage the facility’s budget and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Conduct inspections and plan preventive maintenance of all facility equipment.
  • Analyze facility needs and develop strategies to improve energy efficiency.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve any facility operational issues swiftly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of facility operations and maintenance documents.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to enhance facility-related processes.
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve the operations of the facility systems.
  • Provide training to staff on the use and maintenance of facility systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities engineering or related field.
  • Proficient understanding of building systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in operational contexts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
