Job Description
Facade QA/QC Engineer – Job Profile Summary
- Conduct inspections of façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and related installation works.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and project requirements.
- Review and process WIR/IR, MIR, and QA/QC documentation.
- Inspect façade materials upon delivery and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
- Monitor installation quality, alignment, fixing, sealing, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Witness required façade testing and inspections as per project requirements.
- Identify non-conforming works and follow up NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, façade specialists, and project teams on quality matters.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, checklists, and other quality documentation.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, and handover activities.
- Prepare quality reports and highlight significant quality issues to project management.
