Expert - Lead Specialist - CSD Product Development M F D

A leading financial market infrastructure organization is driving innovation in post-trade ecosystems. The institution is expanding its product development function and is seeking an experienced Lead Specialist – CSD Core Product Development to design, implement, and evolve central securities depository (CSD) services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of business requirements for core CSD functions, including Issuer CSD, Securities Settlement Systems, Central Maintenance Services, Asset Servicing, and Investor CSD.
• Manage and support the end-to-end product development process in close collaboration with internal technology departments and external vendors.
• Drive product implementation and continuous enhancement, applying Agile frameworks (Scrum, MVP) to manage product roadmaps, user stories, epics, and themes throughout design and development phases.
• Coordinate delivery processes and liaise with internal and external IT development teams to align execution with product strategy.
• Select and apply testing methods to validate product design decisions, iteratively incorporating user feedback and using prioritization techniques to manage constraints.
• Bring products to market by aligning testing with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Customer Services, IT) and external parties, including preparation of test cases, documentation, and testing support.
• Identify product metrics and success criteria to drive continuous improvement and organizational success.
• Prepare product materials, user documentation, and advisory board presentations for internal and external use, and deliver internal training for product management, operations, and customer services teams.
• Perform periodic training courses for internal staff to share knowledge and develop junior talent.
• Represent the organization in senior external engagements, aligning product development with commercial and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• 7+ years of related experience in the post-trade banking or financial market infrastructure industry, with deep knowledge of securities settlement, depository services, and market layers.
• Proven track record of implementing products and services, leading IT implementation from RFP to platform supervision, ideally within a CSD or market infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to engage commercially with senior external parties and partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Client
