Job Description

As an Executive Banking Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial institution by managing and strengthening relationships with high-value clients. Your primary objective will be to understand the financial needs of our clients and offer the most suitable banking products and services. This role involves a mix of strategic planning, robust communication, and financial acumen to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for coordinating with different departments to address and solve client concerns efficiently. In this position, you will also work towards acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base while continuously monitoring the evolving needs of existing clients.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key banking clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Identify and address clients' financial needs by recommending appropriate banking products and services.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients to assess progress towards financial goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex client issues and streamline banking processes.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic reports on client accounts for management review.
  • Actively seek opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell banking products to clients.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and company policies during client interactions.
  • Monitor client accounts proactively to prevent and mitigate financial risks.
  • Organize networking events and seminars to increase client engagement and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Train and mentor junior relationship managers to enhance the team's overall performance.
  • Handle escalations related to high-profile client accounts with tact and diplomacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a client-facing role within the banking sector.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing high-net-worth client portfolios.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess and solve complex financial issues.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
