Lead and control the field execution of HVAC and chiller projects, ensuring that installation, replacement, refurbishment, commissioning, and turnover activities are executed safely, with quality, in time, within budget, and in compliance with ENEC Operations’ procedures, regulatory requirements, and approved project plans.
Act as the primary execution interface between the Chiller/HVAC project team and execution contractors, ensuring that work activities are properly sequenced, resourced, and integrated with plant operations, online and outage work management, and maintenance requirements.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Lead and oversee field execution activities for HVAC and chiller projects and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Serve as the primary on‑site interface with execution contractors and subcontractors for HVAC/chiller works.
Lead the interface with the Project Management, and Project Control, Material and Scheduling Divisions on all related Project Execution activities.
Lead the interface with Plant Maintenance, Operations, Outages and Quality to ensure governance compliance with all processes and procedures.
Provide oversight, guidance, direction and advice (as required) to the contractor and subcontractors to support construction methods, materials and equipment and work sequences.
Maintain focus on project safety objectives, identify execution constraints, constructability issues, deficiencies, non-conformances and interface risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure that all relevant objectives are fulfilled.
Ensure project/maintenance execution readiness including material, equipment, tools, and resources availability, work package completion, interfaces and dependencies with other activities, qualification, access, training and permitting.
Lead the execution phase of HVAC and chiller scopes during online operations, ensuring minimal impact to plant availability and safety margins.
Lead the execution of HVAC and chiller scopes during planned / unplanned outages, including pre‑outage readiness, execution, and post‑outage reviews.
Coordinate online / outage project and maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with regulatory, safety and operational requirements.
Act as a central point of contact for all online / outage project and maintenance execution activities and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage equipment and material master data updates to ensure inventory is properly managed at BNPP.
Review and revise work instructions and installation and maintenance procedures to ensure they are available and relevant.
Verify that installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet defined HVAC/chiller technical and quality requirements.
Ensure work packages are properly scoped, resources, sequenced, and authorized prior to execution.

Oversee contractors’ adherence to contracts, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all approval documents like work orders and permits are obtained from appropriate stakeholders as needed.
Monitor contractor performance against approved methods, specifications, and schedules.
Review and revise work instructions, work packages, and procedures to ensure they are available and relevant.
Develop, review, and revise requirements related to installation and service contracts to ensure contracted services are delivered efficiently.
Identify deficiencies or non‑conformances and advise on corrective actions to ensure work is executed correctly and safely.
Verify that installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet defined HVAC/chiller technical and quality requirements.
Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Operations, Work Management, Outage Management, Health and Safety, Fire Protection, Quality, Training and other relevant departments to ensure execution activities comply with plant processes and permits.
Support turnover and handover of completed HVAC/chiller works to Operations and Maintenance, ensuring documentation completeness.
Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support
Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related Science.
Experience
6–7 years of relevant execution or field engineering experience
Experience with HVAC and chiller systems in nuclear or large industrial facilities Track record of having Maintenance and Project Execution experience of online/outage projects.
