Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to understand scope.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project details.
• Identify and quantify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Utilize industry knowledge to suggest cost-effective solutions and materials.
• Maintain updated databases of suppliers and subcontractors for pricing accuracy.
• Review and compare supplier bids, negotiating to secure favorable terms.
• Present clear cost estimate reports to management and clients.
• Adjust estimates as needed based on changes in design or client requirements.
• Provide guidance and feedback for project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials costs, and new technologies.
• Support project managers in tracking project expenditures against budget estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating in the interior fit-out industry.
• Proficiency with estimation software and tools such as Bluebeam or PlanSwift.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost projections.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate estimates to stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with local building codes and industry regulations in fit-out projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines on complex projects.
