Estimator - Interior Fit Out (225-1001)

As an Estimator specializing in Interior Fit Out, you will play a crucial role in project management by evaluating the costs of interior design projects. This involves comprehensive assessments of all resources needed, from materials to labor, ensuring that accurate and competitive bids are prepared. Working closely with designers, project managers, and clients, your goal will be to thoroughly understand project requirements and provide estimates that reflect budgetary constraints while meeting high standards of quality and design integrity. Your ability to analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents will be essential to deliver precise and timely estimates that support the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret interior design blueprints and project specifications in detail.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to refine project scope and objectives.
• Evaluate and compare estimations with actual project outcomes to improve accuracy.
• Maintain a database of materials and labor costs for reference in future projects.
• Arrange and attend project briefing meetings to identify client needs and expectations.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best price and quality.
• Monitor cost variations during project execution and report findings regularly.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to optimize project cost-efficiency.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documentation and contract conditions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and standards.
• Present cost estimates and financial models to stakeholders and clients clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the interior fit-out industry for at least 3 years.
• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret technical drawings and project requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all estimates and documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
