We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator specializing in fit-out projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately forecast costs involved in renovation and interior projects. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in bidding and budgeting processes by evaluating project specifications, collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring that proposals are precise and competitive. This position requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in cost estimation software, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare estimation reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed project information.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out and renovation projects.
• Use estimation software to calculate material, labor, and overhead costs effectively.
• Develop comprehensive bid proposals and submit them within set deadlines.
• Track and evaluate actual project costs versus estimated costs and report discrepancies.
• Update estimation databases regularly for future reference and trend analysis.
• Attend project site visits to gather field data and validate project scope.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate cost-effective pricing.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and provide valuable insight into cost-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all estimation activities.
• Continuously improve estimation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in a fit-out or construction environment.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in estimations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with diverse project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision.
