The Estimator for Fit-Out projects plays a critical role in the successful execution of interior construction and renovation projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively analyze project requirements, assess labor, material, and equipment costs, and compile accurate, comprehensive estimates to guide project decisions. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction methodologies, financial aspects, and industry standards related to fit-out projects. Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings for accurate cost estimation.
• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project requirements.
• Perform site visits to understand project scope and identify potential challenges.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing deals.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Track and analyze variations from initial estimates during project life cycle.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and efficiency.
• Prepare and present reports detailing project cost performance and variances.
• Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and company policies.
• Assist with the preparation of project scheduling and planning activities.
• Provide technical support during project tendering and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project management principles.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate cost assessments.
