Job Description

As the Equipment Maintenance Monitor (Escort) you will escort subcontracted OCN personnel into areas and monitor un-cleared personnel while performing work. You will log in and out all OCN personnel before and after they perform duties; notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted. You will ensure compliance with all equipment maintenance requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure maintenance and repairs of Government owned appliances to 95% operational rate.
  • Maintain a schedule and oversee/escort OCN staff to ensure completion of service maintenance and repair tasks IAW the procedures recommended by the respective machine or appliance manufacturer.
  • Ensure in case of routine repairs, service is initiated within 24 hours and repairs completed within 72 hours.
  • Ensure in case of urgent repairs, service is initiated within 12 hours and repairs completed within 48 hours.
  • Respond according to these standards for equipment repair with no more than three (3) late completed repairs per month.
  • Perform as the focal point for submitting and tracking all service requests and work tasks. Provide service requests to the Site Manager and COR utilizing the standard Air Force Civil Engineer service request procedures used by the EFSS. The Contractor shall maintain a system for effectively tracking service work requests and work tasks and their status.
  • Place a sign or decal on equipment or in a conspicuous location where the equipment is located which shall contain the service call telephone number for users reporting machine problems.
  • Ensure machines are maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendations by overseeing OCN performance of preventive maintenance tasks. Ensure OCN staff perform weekly operational/electrical checks to ensure all machines operate safely, are clean, and are free of corrosion.
  • Utilize the Monthly Maintenance Tracker to record maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure Minimum Washing Machine Preventative Maintenance completed monthly: Clean and inspect the drum, inspect hoses and connections, inspection lint/drain pump filter.
  • Ensure Minimum Dryer Preventative Maintenance completed monthly: clean internal and external dryer exhaust ducts, clean and inspect lint traps, inspect door and drum seals, clean moisture sensors (if equipped), and check dryer operating temperature.
  • Oversee identification and procurement of all needed replacement parts required to keep equipment and appliances running to manufacturer’s standards.
  • Assist or perform as Lodging Logistics Tech and/or Water Delivery Tech as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Site Management.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with repairs & maintenance of appliances, washers and dryers, and other household equipment.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid US Passport (preferred)
  • Valid US Drivers License with clean driving report
  • Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for UAE
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions

TRAVEL: 100% Overseas Assignment

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
