The Engineering team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi plays a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure exceptional guest and associate experiences. Through preventive maintenance, technical expertise, and operational excellence, the team supports the seamless operation of the property around the clock.

As an HVAC Technician, you will report to the Plant Supervisor and work closely with the Engineering team to maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems across the hotel.

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and monitoring HVAC systems and associated mechanical equipment to ensure the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

You will play a key role in delivering preventative maintenance programs, responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the overall operation of the Engineering department while upholding Rosewood standards. 

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance 
• Respond promptly to guest requests, maintenance concerns, and engineering work orders through designated communication systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruption 
• Monitor systems, take operational readings, and maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks 
• Maintain safe working practices, including compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and hotel safety standards 
• Support the Engineering team through effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to Rosewood operational standards 
  

• You have experience maintaining HVAC, mechanical, or building systems within a hotel, resort, or commercial environment
• You possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance
• You have knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, building systems, and workplace safety practices
• You are organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• You are comfortable using maintenance management systems and mobile communication devices
• You communicate fluently in English and enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment
