Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Material Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Material Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and improving materials used in various products and manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct comprehensive material analysis and testing to evaluate properties, performance, and quality
  • Develop and optimize materials to meet specific product requirements and performance criteria
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and improve product designs
  • Investigate material failures and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Design and implement new testing methodologies to enhance material evaluation processes
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed technical reports on material properties and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials science and engineering
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in material selection and usage
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teams knowledge base
  • Participate in project planning and execution, adhering to schedules and budgets

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Professional engineering registration (specific to UAE if applicable)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in materials testing equipment, CAD software, and data analysis tools
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to materials engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring junior engineers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience with project management and adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with advancements in materials science
