Engineer Facility Maintenance-AUH UAE National

Job Description

As an Engineer/Facility Maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with various departments and contractors to ensure timely completion of project works. Your expertise will be crucial in familiarizing and implementing new technologies to enhance our power systems. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient and effective maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance & operational data (Service Provider / Contractor) & Follow up the activities of the operation and maintenance with Service Provider or any other third party in order to assure that all activities are being carried out as per Etisalat standard and that KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) are being met.
• Site visit and conduct site audit and report deficiencies to Service Provider.
• Prepare Management reports and failure / fault analysis
• Daily monitoring and follow up of pending alarms and call outs
• Participate with HO tender evaluation committee as an evaluation member.
• Ensure maintenance procedures, methods and practices relating to power systems. And assign work priorities and maintenance activities in order to comply with international standards and recommend measures to enhance efficiency, reliability and productivity.
• Reviews analysis of consolidated Engineering reports and submits routine and special reports in respect of operations and maintenance of Data Centre, Telecom buildings, reviews key/critical issues and resolves them in coordination with Service Provider, Contractors and Management..
• Initiate procurement, mobilization to work sites and the utilization, documentation and handling of stores, spares, tools, test equipment and mechanical aids.
• Keep abreast of the technical developments in the field of technology, FM services, maintenance of power systems and services.
• Ensure that Etisalat quality standards are adhered for all activities carried out by service provider or a third party.
• Preparing of Operating Budgets & support Capex budget preparations.
• Perform the Duties of Manager / FMC –Operation & Quality during his long leave or absence.
• Attend high level management meeting.
  
  

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Electronics & telecommunications/Electromechanical
• Strong knowledge of facility management principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
