Emergency medicine

Main Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with diverse acute medical and traumatic conditions
• Perform critical procedures and interventions to stabilize patients
• Collaborate closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests efficiently to guide treatment decisions
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with legal and institutional standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education programs
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and follow-up
  
  

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
